Im a 29 yr old mother of two who is looking to start up her own business. I am looking for advice on where to get free/inexpensive help with finding funding sources and also resources on putting together a business plan. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated!

I currently work for a information clearing house for individuals seeking help on establishing their own business. And recently we have recieved letters from inmates wishing to create their own company, however we are aware that there isn’t any government or private funding available to ex-cons. If anyone knows of any reputable organizations that provide this type of assistance it would help us immensly. Thanks!
